Center Air Pilot Academy chooses VRpilot’s virtual reality trainer for enhanced APS MCC training
VRpilot has signed a contract with Center Air Pilot Academy, one of the leading professional flight academies in Scandinavia, on the delivery of VRpilot’s virtual reality cockpit flow trainer, VRflow.
Thor Paulli Andersen, partner at VRpilot says: “We are very proud that Center Air Pilot Academy has chosen us to collaborate on their enhanced APS MCC course. We are looking forward to an exciting journey with Center Air Pilot Academy, and and are proud to contribute to the training of even better professional pilots. As Center Air Pilot Academy is the first civilian customer for us, this visionary collaboration is an important testimony to the potential of our VRflow training platform – both as a means to improve pilot training and to reduce training costs. “
Anna Kjær Thorsøe, Chief Theoretical Knowledge Instructor at Center Air Pilot Academy, says: “We are very exited about exploring our new training possibilities with VRPilot! Our APS MCC is already a great course, but we are sure that adding virtual reality will enable us to prepare our students even better for their future career in aviation!”
VRpilot will deliver VRflow, including the MCC functionality, for the Boeing 737 NG, tailored to Center Air Pilot Academy’s procedures.
