VRpilot Donates VR Headsets to Wings for Warriors

Gloucestershire – June 2026 – VRpilot has donated a number of VR headsets to UK charity Wings for Warriors (WfW), supporting its mission to help military veterans retrain as commercial pilots.

The headsets, configured for DA42, Boeing 737, and Airbus A320 aircraft types, will provide WfW candidates with access to immersive, scenario-based training, helping strengthen their preparation for airline careers.

Thanks to support from VR pilot our training process will be greatly enhanced, allowing an immersive and engaging introduction into the commercial flight-deck well in advance of graduation.

This means our veterans will have a legitimate commercial advantage when applying for positions with airlines, already being familiar with complex aircraft types.

Mark Radcliffe, Director, Wings for Warriors:

“We are enormously grateful to VR pilot for recognising value in our mission and for being so generous in their support for our work. It is only thanks to relationships and support like this that we are able to use aviation to change lives on a sustainable basis. Thank you VRpilot!”

Thor Paulli Andersen, Partner, VRpilot:

“We’re proud to support Wings for Warriors in their mission to transition injured service personnel into commercial aviation careers. VRpilot is built on our passion for civil aviation, and we hope our contribution will help welcome veterans into the amazing world of professional flying. We’d like to thank our long-time partner ManageXR for enabling this initiative with their VR device management platform.”

The initiative reflects the growing role of immersive technology in pilot training, while supporting wider efforts to address the global pilot shortage and create new career pathways for veterans.
